We went to Kauii.
I lost my camera.
I don't want to talk about it.
But, I did get a few pictures from the Hendricks,
and they are pictures with a story!
Do these look like happy couples??
The waitress at Duke's thought so!!

Ken had asked for separate checks at the start of dinner.
At the end of the meal she brought the checks,
one for me and Kathy and one for
John and Ken.
We wondered if she just messed up or if
she really thought Kathy and I were lesbians and we were out with our gay friends.
We asked.
She said yep, that is what she thought..."alternative lifestyle".
So, I won't bore you with all the stories of the great pictures I took.

oh NO! That's not fun that you lost your camera, but that waitress story is pretty hilarious. What a nutcase! I think it was more a comment on her than youguys.
Maybe she just thought you ladies looked way too happy to be out with your husbands. Some people don't seem to know that you can be married and happy at the same time!!
Hi Dixie, I guess you got the email with the pictures in it. I will send you more or I can just give you a CD with them on it at thanksgiving. Have a great time in WA and tell the kids hello. It will be fun to spend some time with the grandkids. See you soon. The weather is looking okay I think for the drive over. We will have to keep checking though. This week it is low 70's in St. George so that will be great if it stays the same.
